Hope you had a great weekend. On the short time since the email yesterday, I haven’t heard back from you what would work best a meeting today. (And I apologize for the short notice, but you know that I was out of town for 2 months and we do not have a structure in place yet to organize things smoothly enough.)
Here is what I’ll do today. I will simply be
· from noon to 1pm at University Café (271 University Ave, Palo Alto), and
· from 3 – 6p at CoHo (next to Tressider Union on campus).
I can also have dinner if anyone is interested and lets me know beforehand (suggest CoHo for simplicity). If interested, swing by either place at your convenience, and I will tell you about the pretty cool things happening (see the PS for this quarter), and we’ll discuss what role you want to play.

PS: Specifically for this week, we have a day with Nokia on Friday for a workshop for social data and mobile. Location is one of the Founders Fund companies in SF (health startup), the Nokia CTO be there with about 20 people from Finland, and they are sponsoring a dinner this Thursday Feb 9 at 5A5 in San Francisco. This is just what I think might be of interest to you – I always love to learn from pretty good people at significant companies – but I need your input for the subsequent events, as to what you really want: the event after this will be with EMC / Greenplum (big data analytics) and it really is up to us to set the agenda. There are also smaller things (teaching a Master Class for Mu-Sigma Sunday Feb 27 afternoon at their Customer Summit at the Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay where I could bring some of you in, but I really need to understand who is interested in what and will contribute what. Makes sense?

Hi there,
Thanks to all of you who made the summit yesterday a great success. The feedback I got was super positive.
I would like to propose we meet tomorrow afternoon or evening in person for an hour (and those who can’t make it on campus can skype in or listen to the recording I’ll put up afterward) to plan the rest of the quarter.
I would suggest we do 5-6:30. But I can make any time between 3pm and 10pm.
If that time does not work, let’s use weigend.com/whiteboard for discussion about times that people can do. Here is the text I put on it:
