For several months this message appeared on my moderator's homepage: "Permission to manage messages denied."

This has now been removed. So far as I can tell, everything appears to be working correctly. Let's try it.

Hopefully the technical problems have been solved and won't recur. Just
sending this as a test to see if you can still receive posts to the list
from me.

Sincerely,
Joe

Dear Joe,

I went to the Google forum home page where all the forums are listed.  There are now two SC forums in which I am enrolled.  One is shown as socialcredit; the other is Social Credit.  There are now two different groups.  The latter recruited membership just yesterday in an email from Schroeder.  I suggest you email Schroeder to iron out the differences.

Anyway, I really don’t understand why either group would solicit membership to an adversary like me.  My position on Douglas’s SC dividend hasn’t changed since last year.  It actually has been re-enforced after careful reading and analysis of Michael Hoffman’s Usury in Christendom.   Furthermore, there are numerous passages in my Christian Bible clearly showing advice that is contrary to the giving of a dividend to all.  It is not that I think people such as yourself are not motivated by thinking you are acting for the greater good, but in overlooking Biblical solutions, you may indeed be the cause of other unintended consequences.  In fact, some of the SC position papers participants have sent me, portraying Douglas SC as somehow a Christian solution to the monetary problems, also neglect in mentioning these Biblical passages which present contrariwise logic.  And if you still want my participation knowing this, I am open.  And I will do my very best to stay on point without ad hominem interjections.  Your rejection of the Bible as God’s word is not my problem.  This land gives both citizenship and protection of individual rights to believe as one wants to all.  Therefore the administration of national monetary policies remains open for debate.

Apologies also to any whom I have previously offended.

Respectfully,
Daniel S. Krynicki

Daniel, and all,

It is my understanding that the Social Credit group long maintained  by William B Ryan experienced some technical difficulties in mid-2013 ~ the nature or which I do not know ~ and this apparently prevented him from being able to continue to moderate this group.

Since then, many members have expressed a desire that it continue if the problems could be resolved.  That resolution has been slow in coming, and it was not clear whether it ever would be coming.

After many months with no apparent progress, Jim Schroeder, a long time list member, and with Wally Klinck the co-author of the excellent article on 'Social Credit'  that appears on Wikipaedia,  expressed interest in starting a new group.  I was invited to join, and I have done so.  Obviously others have, or have been invited to, too.

Just subsequent to that, I received two messages from Bill Ryan, one as a test to see if  the original group was again functional, and a second briefly re-counting a message from Google that had previously prevented his continuation as moderator when he tried to resume that function.  I am obviously still a member of that group, too, since the reply I sent has re-appeared in my inbox.

Now it appears we have two groups operational at the same time ~ and it is not for me to say what the resolution to that anomaly should be.  That can be decided by the two moderators.  As can be the make-up of the respective lists memberships.

For myself, I am quite willing to discuss Social Credit with anyone who wants to discuss it with me on either or both of these lists, and I look forward to being able to read the offerings of all others, even of those with whom I'll no doubt continue to disagree,  in the same place or places.

Sincerely,
Joe Thomson
