who downloaded it before and could you share it with us? thanks!

I checked out the latest SVN trunk version and put it on my server:
http://temp.patrick-nagel.net/socialcalc-svn-trunk-2008-04-24.tar.bz2
I'll leave it there for a limited amount of time (implied by the 'temp'
hostname).

If you want to check out from SVN yourself, just do a 'svn co
https://repo.socialtext.net:8999/svn/socialcalc/trunk/' (on UNIX) or use
TortoiseSVN on Windows.

The download link to the snapshot on socialcalc.org should definitely be
updated though.

Well, the contents of the file http://temp.patrick-nagel.net/socialcalc-svn-trunk-2008-04-24.tar.bz2,
are the same of the contents of the svn repository.
The problem, is that the SVN repository is incomplete. The first sign
of trouble is that the svn says version42, and some posts in the
socialcalc blog reference things as version 66; Also in the groups
some people reference inexistent files like socialcalccgi.pl
So, I think, there is a needed some better instructions for
downloading and installing, checking up the svn repository or posting
the URL of the correct svn repos. Also downloading from sourceforge
redirects to download files from socialtext,.
