Human perception of AI consciousness: Post-doctoral position
Start date: Flexible (Summer/Fall 2026)
Duration: Two years with possibility of extension
We have one or two post-doc positions to work with Leon Deouell, Anat Perry and Liad Mudrik at the Hebrew and Tel Aviv Universities. Location is flexible. Position is funded for two years (with possibility of extension). Competitive candidates will have a PhD degree in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or related field. Candidates should have background in running experiments with human participants. Experience with EEG, eye-tracker or with AI research is an advantage.
Required qualifications:
- Interest in human perception of consciousness & AI
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong methodological, experimental, and statistical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Not required but could be an advantage:
- expertise or interest in advanced data analysis (e.g., EEG)
- experience with python and/or Matlab
