Dear all, We are excited to announce that the call for symposium proposals and individual abstracts for our upcoming 2026 S4SN meeting in beautiful Montreal is open from February 5 to March 13, 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your research and engage with a diverse and collaborative community of neuroscientists. Symposia should include a total of four speakers. We encourage the submission of exciting proposals that balance animal and human research, though we will also consider symposia that focus on issues unique to either animal or human work. Our society uniquely emphasizes the integration of animal and human research, fostering collaboration among researchers from a wide range of backgrounds. Symposia will be selected based on scientific innovation, timeliness of the topic, fit within the overall program, and the inclusion of a diverse group of speakers. To ensure broad participation, speakers will not be considered if they have presented at the 2025 S4SN meeting. In addition to symposium proposals, we warmly encourage the submission of individual abstracts. The Program Committee may select certain individual abstracts for talks within the symposia, and all individual abstracts submitted by March 13, 2025 will be considered in assembling the program. Please include the following in your symposium submission: · Names · Positions · Email addresses · University affiliations and countries · Topic of each speaker (human, animal, or both) · Talk titles of each speaker · Symposium abstract (one for the entire symposium, <3000 characters) · Individual abstract for each speaker (<3000 characters) SUBMIT SYMPOSIA PROPOSAL: 🔗 Submit your abstract here The symposium proposal deadline is Friday, March 13, 2025 (11:59 PM last timezone on Earth). Individual abstracts submitted by this deadline will be reviewed and selected for inclusion in the main program. Abstracts not selected for talks, as well as those submitted after March 13, will be considered for poster presentations. Join us in advancing social neuroscience through diverse perspectives! We look forward to your submissions. Please forward this to others interested in social neuroscience and appropriate listservs so we can reach beyond our current membership. Note that the 2026 meeting website is unique and separate from the S4SN society site. The 2026 Meeting website (Visit the Meeting Website Here!) includes everything you need to know for the meeting and registration information! Registration is also open!
