The School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences at the University of Reading (UK) is seeking to appoint a Chair in (Cognitive) Neuroscience and up to 3 Assistant Professors with varying expertise including Cognitive Neuroscience to join our collegiate,
research-active and highly regarded team of academic and clinical staff.
For the Chair, we particularly welcome applicants with a research profile in MRI methods and/or multimodal imaging (e.g. TMS-FMRI) whose research area will complement our neuroscience research strengths in mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan in
areas such as: healthy and pathological ageing; child and adolescent development and psychopathology; nutrition, diet and physical activity; chronic, neurodevelopmental, and neurodegenerative health condition. For the Assistant Professorships, we encourage
applications from those with expertise in cognitive/affective neuroscience, (developmental) psychopathology, forensic and social psychology (social neuroscience is welcome too).
Our Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN) is housed in our School, has excellent brain imaging (MRI, EEG) and neurostimulation (TMS) facilities, and supporting wet lab and peripheral psychophysiology facilities. For more information on
