The
Social Neuroscience and Health Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is looking to fill a full-time research assistant/project coordinator position to start August/September 2025. The coordinator will join a team working on an NIH-funded study that examines the impacts of social stress on the brain (fMRI) and immune system (inflammation, gene expression) utilizing a pharmacological challenge (beta-blockade with propranolol). In addition to coordinating the study, the staff member will have the chance to attend lab meetings and social psychology/human neuroscience seminars, and will join a diverse, inclusive lab family who are dedicated to research uncovering brain-body interactions and how they shape health inequities and social behavior.
