In the wake of the second wave of COVID -19 pandemic, APSWP, which consists of qualified Mental Health Professionals as per the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017 is conducting an online training program on Grief reactions for our members as well as non-members who are mental health professionals. This would help the trained personnel to give quality mental health and psychosocial support for those who are in need during these difficult times. 

The Program is coordinated by our association members, Dr. Srilatha Juvva and Dr. Anita Rego.

The areas covered in the program include grief in context of COVID, psychosocial aspects related to grief, Grief assessment, psychosocial first aid and support during bereavement,

trauma informed lens to transcend grief and techniques to deal with Grief.

Details of the program:

Number of Sessions : 9 sessions

Duration and time : 2 Hours (18.00 – 20.00 hrs)

Dates : 8th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 18th, 20th, 21st & 22nd

 of May 2021.

Registration Fees: Rs. 250 for APSWP life members and Rs. 500 for non – members
