With great pride and privilege, we are pleased to inform you that the Department of Social Work, University of Lucknow is organising Two days National Seminar sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi on 22nd – 23rd March, 2025.
The theme of the Seminar, ‘Women-Led Development: Emerging Challenges and Strategic Pathways for Viksit Bharat @ Vision 2047’, aligns with the global discourse on sustainable development and inclusive growth. It resonates with the commitment to fostering policies and practices that empower women as key drivers of progress, ensuring a future rooted in equality, resilience, and sustainability.
This seminar provides a significant platform for academicians, students, social work professionals, and practitioners across various disciplines to engage in meaningful discussions. Through insights from eminent experts, the deliberations will contribute to shaping a roadmap for a more equitable and progressive society, addressing the challenges and opportunities in realizing a women-led developmental model for India’s Vision 2047.
The two-day seminar aims to discuss, deliberate, and address the critical aspects of women-led development in India, suggesting policy measures to foster gender equality and create an ecosystem that allows women to thrive and drive India’s progress.
