Brooklyn Workforce Innovations (BWI) – a nonprofit workforce development organization – seeks a dynamic individual to manage the New York Drives training program. Core responsibilities include curriculum development and program design, trainee recruitment and selection, program instruction and facilitation of program outcomes. BWI helps jobless and working poor New Yorkers establish careers in sectors that offer good wages and opportunities for advancement (www.bwiny.org). The Program Director will oversee a job training program that annually serves over 60 unemployed and low-income New Yorkers with several weeks of full-time job readiness training and driver’s education. Program outcomes include job placement and/or placement in one of BWI’s sector based training programs. Responsibilities also include tracking outcomes, data management and compiling reports for government and foundation grants.
