Hope you are doing well. I am writing to you to introduce our rural sanitation programme called project ASMITA. Under this project Arvind IMS (SBU within Arvind Ltd.) is marketing and installing affordable toilets in rural households. Our pilot project in Gandhinagar has been a success and now we want to take this project pan India. To this end, we are looking for strategic tie-up with MFIs/NBFCs with wide rural presence to offer well priced consumer loans to our customers.
Per our estimate, more than 70 million rural families lack access to toilets, practicing open defecation and living under a constant threat to their safety and dignity. Project ASMITA is aimed at ending this ordeal by offering good quality affordable toilets on demand.
