Here in Vancouver, Canada I'm about to start on a small grant for community projects and training.

It's a good fit  for Net Tuesday Vancouver and Social Media Surgeries because our lack of legal status (a feature, not a bug!) makes us ineligible for most other grants. :-)

I applied for the grant and today received word that I'd been successful. 

Unfortunately I had to decline the offer as the surgery has been suspended for a while. Sod's law eh? :-)

Hmmm - I applied for the £100 but havent heard - we had 25 turn up for our surgery yesterday !
