Hi Interns.
It is extremely disappointing to see that we haven't been able to
reach the target of 1000 likes on Facebook. What is even more
demotivating is the fact that we are nowhere even close to it.

I need all of you to invite your friends to the Facebook event page
and see to it that they click on "going". Tell your friends that this
is not a contest only for designers! With all the clip arts readily
available, all they need to do is click and choose. There are huge
stakes involved in this. Rs. 1,00,000 is a huge cash prize and to top
it we shall be getting 100 T-Shirts (with their winning designs)
printed for them. Media coverage and over 10,000 viewers of their
design, goes without saying.
Please get them to join the page asap. The formal launch of the event
is on 16th July, 2012. We really need to get this event page going
before that.

By Monday I have to see 1000 people "attending" the event!! Please do
your bit. It doesn't take much for each of you to get 100 friends to
join the page. After sending the invite, talk to your friends and
brief them about the contest. Motivate them to participate.

That is exactly what we need to do. Share it with others and get them to spread the word to their friends. Do you have any particular strategy in mind?

I was of the notion that we can put another vertical for them where they can be online assistants as tag where they can leverage or we can give the basic merchandises for their help.

There is a research that I would like to share using which we can rapidly increase our page likes.
Primarily th ppl who like the pages and follow them are generally found on other such pages.
So we shd search for pages which are run by colleges or teens or event firm or party firms and post it there.
It would be more effect then jst asking frnds or piers to like it. Coz they hardly pay heed to what is posted
