About the position: Pinion is moving from a web MVP to a user oriented, interactive environment that utilizes our distinctive engagement mechanism. We are seeking a front end/full stack developer to help us design and build out solutions that users will love and customers will value.
An ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working in a remote startup environment, where you’re dealing with a lot of moving parts but still have an eye for detail. A self-motivated team player who works well with other team members and can adapt to fast-changing environments will thrive. You should reliably have available bandwidth to be able to communicate with teammates and work on development tasks.

Demonstrable knowledge and experience designing/developing web and app features that enhance user experiences and simplify data collection. Strong understanding of design principles for front end development and proficiency in our fundamental technologies: Azure DevOps, JS/REACT, MVC, .NET Core development, C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework. Good to have: Linux, Python, Django, Apache, Docker, Strong understanding of the details of full-stack data sharing (API calls, UI/UX requirements, Client-side and Server-side interactions) Good team player and willingness to engage with teammates, get to know them and create a collaborative working environment. Formal education or equivalent work experience as a front-end/full stack developer. Available bandwidth - We undersand life that happens, jobs change, families require time and we expect to accommodate this but if you should expect to consistently contribute at least 10 hours per week, with more welcome.
Compensation - Please Note - We are a true early stage start up (pre-funding/pre-revenue) and all working for future equity only (no salaries yet) using the Slicing Pie methodology (www.slicingpie.com) to fairly allocate equity in the company. This role is intended to grow into a full-time salary+bonus+equity position in the future as we gain funding and revenues. . While you will be part of our founding team, all of our team members are on contractor work agreements. Finally - this is a flexible fully remote position. An ideal candidate should be self-sufficient, with the bandwidth to reliably contribute, interested in our technology and mission, and comfortable with our early stage, “boot strapping” startup status.
