Digital Account Executive– Communications Agency

Our clients are foundations, advocacy groups, and global brands. We develop and execute strategic public awareness campaigns and offer various communications services, including campaign messaging, media relations, digital strategy, and branding.
We are seeking a Digital Account Executive passionate about making social change.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in managing integrated, data-driven digital campaigns, including social media, website development, email outreach
- Provide project management support on digital projects, including internal and client-facing communications and timeline management
- Prepare and/or review activity reports and status reports for clients
- Collaborate with the creative team to design engaging content for various digital platforms.
- Participate in the Fenton Learning Lab to deepen knowledge and technical skills.
Digital Expertise
- Assist with content strategy planning across digital workstreams, including social media, email communications, websites, etc
- Draft social media content from ideation to launch, including scheduling, posting and day-to-day community management on client social platforms
- Write engaging email communications for clients across sectors
- Implement updates to client websites and/or applications for select accounts
- Develop, implement, and manage email campaigns that effectively communicate client messages and achieve campaign goals.
- Learn basic HTML and CSS for email program implementation and light website/ landing page edits
- Manage and organize client CRM (such as NGP/EveryAction, Action Network, Mailchimp, Pardot etc.)
- Analyze performance metrics and create client reports based on KPIs, performance, and best practices.
Research
- Conduct digital research, including landscape and digital media audits
- Create website audits using analytics tools and develop wireframes
- Conduct research to support new business pitches and contribute to creative brainstorms
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience as well as non-traditional educational paths
- At least 2-3 years of experience serving in a full-time digital strategy/ social media/ email role, either in a public relations agency or the communications department of a company, non-profit or foundation in a relevant industry
- Working knowledge of social media content management platforms (Meta Business Manager, Instagram Creator Studio, etc)
- Experience with at least one email platform (NGP/EveryAction, Action Network, Mailchimp, Pardot etc.)
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of digital best practices
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
- Demonstrated writing and editing skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Attention to detail and organization

- We have adopted a hybrid remote/in-office worksite model. We require all employees to live within a 35-mile radius of any one of our four strategic hubs (New York, D.C, LA or SF).
