Third Plateau is a strategy firm that supports organizations, leaders, funders, and networks across the social sector to maximize their impact. We're growing and looking for five new team members to join our team of passionate and committed social impact professionals. Note: All positions are located in California, except for the Vice President role, which can be anywhere in the U.S. (We are currently working from home but are excited to return to our offices in Sacramento and the Bay Area!)

Third Plateau Openings

Director - Strategy - Designing world-changing ideas is incredibly complex, but our strategy team is up for the challenge. This mid-career professional will lead projects in impact areas across the social sector, helping to build relationships, manage timelines and workflow, facilitate critical conversations, and help our clients effect bold social change with their communities. 

Researcher - Great strategy is anchored in a deep understanding of who you are and who you serve. This professional will join our Research, Evaluation, and Learning team to work on our full array of social impact projects. They will help to ensure our clients are well-informed, build on effective practices, and design strategy that is data-informed and aligned with community needs.

Associate – To consistently deliver excellence to our clients and partners, we need strong support and infrastructure. This early-career professional will support our various strategy projects, helping keep projects moving, information accessible, and client teams operating effectively and efficiently.

What's that? Three openings is cool, but five would be a lot cooler? Deal. In response to our growing network of phenomenal social justice leaders in the Jewish community, we're looking to grow our team that can uniquely serve this portfolio:

Vice President of Jewish Community Impact - We're looking for a VP who can work closely with our founders (all three of whom are Jewish) and spearhead our growing efforts in the Jewish impact space. This experienced professional will join our Leadership Team, lead and secure new client engagements, manage a team of stellar strategists, and continue to build our network and brand with Jewish social change agents.

Director - Strategy & Jewish Community Impact - If you're the person who likes a little bit of everything, this one’s for you! This mid-career professional will spend roughly 50% of their time working with our social impact clients in the Jewish community and 50% of their time leading projects outside of the Jewish community in the other sectors in which we work. It's the best of both worlds, rolled neatly into one amazing gig.
