Exposure Labs (ELABS) seeks a Development Director to expand and lead the institutional (foundations) fundraising for our operations, social impact campaigns and programming, and provide support to the leadership team with individual (major donors) fundraising for our original film productions. Supported by the Development and Communications Sr. Manager, the Development Director also collaborates with team members on grants and database management and fundraising-focused communication styles and brand.

An ideal candidate has working knowledge of and fundamental adherence to the principles, ethics, and best practices of modern fundraising, including the integration of various giving programs to diversify a funding base and cultivate greater donor commitment. We are seeking a candidate who is also a dynamic storyteller and able to develop and implement communications strategies to advance the organization’s annual fundraising goal of $3.5 million for impact programs and operations. And, in purely a supporting role, work with our Film Production Team in managing communications with our investor and donor network, as the Production Team raises additional $1.5 million+ annually for our ongoing development and operations of productions.

If you’re a candidate who is a strategic thinker and planner, a storyteller, highly self-motivated, meticulous about details, can manage multiple priorities and relationships, has excellent writing and communication skills, can lead the work through an equity lens, has a great sense of humor and can be an effective member of the entire ELABS team, then you’d be a great fit for our organization.
