cKinetics’ cCarbon division is looking for a commercially strong, technically credible business development leader to grow adoption of its research, data, and advisory services across the low-carbon fuels sector.
This is a full-time, permanent role operating across North American time zones, with remote or hybrid flexibility.
We are looking for someone who brings both:
1. Genuine domain credibility
You should be able to hold substantive conversations with analysts, traders, and C-suite buyers about clean fuel credit markets, including pricing dynamics, regulation, and market outlook.
Relevant market exposure may include:
• California LCFS
• Oregon CFP
• Washington CFS
• US RFS and 45Z
• Canada CFR
• British Columbia LCFS
• Renewable diesel, SAF, RNG, hydrogen, and other emerging low-carbon fuels
2. A proven commercial track record
You should have:
• 5–8 years of B2B, enterprise sales, or commercial business development experience
• Consistently achieved 100%+ of quota
• Built and converted a qualified pipeline of $1M+ from scratch
• Managed deals end to end, from discovery and consultation to negotiation and close
• Engaged stakeholders across the client organisation, from analysts to C-suite executives
The role involves building relationships with obligated parties, producers, traders, and investors while positioning cCarbon’s market intelligence as a trusted commercial decision-making resource.
You will also:
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Lead client demos, consultations, proposals, negotiations, and closures
• Track regulatory developments, pricing dynamics, and credit-generation pathways
• Represent cCarbon at industry events, conferences, and webinars
• Work closely with research teams to develop tailored solutions and identify new product opportunities
Experience selling research, data, advisory, or subscription services will be particularly valuable. Existing relationships across the North American clean fuels ecosystem are also highly desirable.
Compensation: USD 120,000–210,000, including on-target earnings. Salary will depend on experience, geography, and demonstrated commercial capability.
cCarbon serves more than 20,000 professionals globally with data, fundamental research, and actionable insight across renewable fuels, carbon markets, and decarbonisation strategies.
