Our Vision: A continent where every African — regardless of where they were born or how much money they have — has a real, supported pathway to turn their boldest idea into a solution that changes lives.We are building Africa's Silicon Valley. From within. By Africans. For Africa and the world.

Our Mission:  TAN — The Africa Network finds, trains, funds, and incubates Africa's most transformative innovators — building a permanent, continent-wide ecosystem that turns Africa's greatest challenges into Africa's greatest opportunities.

The Problem We Are Solving. Africa is not short of brilliant people. It is not short of urgent problems. It is not short of passion or creativity. Africa is short of the infrastructure that connects all three.

Right now, across 54 nations, there are innovators sitting with ideas that could transform millions of lives — isolated, underfunded, untrained, and unconnected. Meanwhile:

• 🌍 Africa receives less than 1% of global venture capital
• 📚 First-generation entrepreneurs have no access to training, mentors, or networks
• 🔗 The innovation ecosystem is fragmented — hubs, universities, investors, and diaspora all working in parallel with no connective tissue
• 📣 Africa's innovation story is chronically undertold — costing the continent investment, talent, and belief

Through Impact Africa Hackathon 2026 — our flagship initiative — we bring together Africa's boldest problem-solvers, give them world-class training, connect them with elite mentors and judges, and fund the top innovations with seed capital and a full incubation programme.

This is Year One of a 10-year mission.
