Yosemite. One hundred years of partnership. More than $172 million invested in one of the most beloved places on earth.
Yosemite Conservancy is searching for its next Chief Financial Officer, and I can say without hesitation that this is one of the most compelling opportunities I have seen in my career placing leaders in conservation.
This is not just a CFO role. It is a chance to serve as a financial steward for a national treasure, working alongside a mission-driven team that funds trail restoration, wildlife management, scientific research, youth engagement, and visitor programs in Yosemite National Park. The Conservancy is the park's sole dedicated nonprofit partner, and the CFO sits at the heart of everything it does.
The right person brings deep nonprofit finance experience, comfort with complex revenue environments spanning philanthropy, earned income, and federal partnership, and a real connection to conservation and public lands. Compensation is $230,000 to $250,000, based in San Francisco.
If this speaks to you, or if you know someone it should, I would love to hear from you. Full details and the position profile are at potrerogroup.com/yosemite,
