Educate! is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Development to lead and grow our global development and fundraising function. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader will oversee a diverse team of nine across multiple countries, driving our philanthropy strategy, strengthening grant systems and storytelling, and fostering a culture of learning and accountability. We’re looking for a flexible, systems-oriented builder and manager who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys coaching and mentoring, and can put structure in place without slowing momentum.

What we're looking for:

8+ years experience with proven leadership in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Track record building systems and processes for growth (grants, CRM, reporting)
Strong communication and storytelling abilities
Experience managing external partnerships and crafting fundraising materials
Strategic mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results
Passion for expanding economic opportunities for Africa's youth

You'll: Steward revenue strategy, build scalable development systems, lead a high-performing team, and shape our external narrative.

Location: Preference for UK or East Africa, but open to remote US candidates who can work East Africa time zones.
