Job Description:

Location: UK-Based | Hybrid (London)
Role Type: Fractional to Full-Time (progression to full-time) | Opportunity to take on a founding-level leadership position as the platform scales
Compensation: £40,000 – £60,000 (activated as revenue stabilises) + profit share

This role begins on a fractional basis, with salary activating as revenue is secured and stabilised.

We are building a new education platform designed to connect learning with real-world experience, enterprise, and community engagement.

Our first live environment — the Floating Campus — combines physical and digital delivery to pilot new models of learning, partnerships, and revenue generation.

We are now moving from early traction into execution and are looking for a Platform & Partnerships Lead to help convert existing opportunities into revenue and support the operational build of the platform.

This is a hands-on role focused on making things work in practice — from securing partnerships to helping shape how the model operates day to day.

About Us

We are an innovation-led education group entering our expansion phase.

Our Floating Campus is a live delivery platform designed to:

  • Deliver community-based learning experiences

  • Generate revenue through hybrid education models

  • Act as a pilot and testing environment

  • Provide real-time feedback to our Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI)

  • Develop a replicable model for future learning infrastructure

The Floating Campus forms part of a wider mission aligned with SDG 4 – Quality Education.

This is not a conventional education role.
This is not a traditional charity leadership post.

We operate a hybrid corporate + impact model designed for replication and scale.

What you will be responsible for

This role combines three core areas:

Revenue & Partnerships — converting existing opportunities into secured income
Platform Build & Operations — establishing how the Floating Campus works day-to-day
Delivery & Expansion — launching and refining the model for future growth

The Opportunity

We are appointing a UK-based Founding Director to lead the operational and enterprise build of the Floating Campus platform during our expansion phase.

This role sits at the intersection of institution-building, revenue development and operational leadership.

You will not inherit a finished structure.

You will build one.

The successful candidate will take ownership of converting existing revenue opportunities into secured partnerships and sustainable income streams.

This role is designed for individuals comfortable with entrepreneurial risk and the realities of building an expansion-stage platform.

Core Responsibilities Enterprise & Revenue Development

  • Convert existing income pipeline into secured revenue

  • Develop and secure sponsorship and partnership agreements

  • Build scalable revenue models aligned to the hybrid structure

  • Translate partnership interest into long-term income streams

Platform Operations

  • Lead operational launch of the Floating Campus

  • Coordinate contractors and delivery partners

  • Install reporting systems and operational frameworks

  • Build and manage the delivery team

Expansion Execution

  • Lead Spring Campus activation

  • Build systems enabling future campus replication

  • Maintain structured feedback loops with the Lifelong Learning Institute

Structure & Governance

  • Reports to Founder / Board

  • Operational and enterprise leadership responsibility for the Floating Campus

  • Intellectual property and pedagogy remain within the Lifelong Learning Institute

  • Clear governance and subsidiary structure in place

Who This Role Is For

You are:

  • A builder comfortable with ambiguity

  • Experienced in turning opportunities into revenue

  • Confident installing systems from scratch

  • Comfortable operating within a vision-led founder environment

  • Motivated by long-term platform building rather than short-term titles

  • Interested in expansion-stage innovation

Who This Role Is Not For

This role will not suit individuals who:

  • Need rigid corporate hierarchies

  • Require detailed blueprints before acting

  • Are uncomfortable operating within hybrid impact + enterprise models

  • Want to “take over” rather than co-build

What You Gain

  • Equity-aligned founding leadership position

  • Opportunity to build a replicable national education platform

  • Hands-on role in next-generation learning infrastructure

  • Exposure to institutional partners and expansion-stage growth

  • A chance to shape an education model aligned with SDG 4

We believe talent and courage should matter more than access to capital.

Application Process

Applicants will complete a short written submission and structured interview process.

We are intentionally selective.

We are building for expansion.
