About the Fellowship

RenewToday, Brighter Investing, and Cardamom Consulting are proud to present the 2026 Global Leadership in Policy & Innovative Finance Fellowship — a six-month, fully online, cohort-based program designed for professionals and graduate students ready to lead at the intersection of public policy, social impact, and innovative finance.

As global funding landscapes shift and traditional development assistance evolves, the world needs diverse leaders equipped to understand and shape new financing mechanisms, from impact investing to blended finance to policy-driven capital solutions. This fellowship builds exactly that leadership.


What You'll Gain
  • Direct engagement with global thought leaders in impact investing, philanthropy, and public policy — including speakers from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Harvard Graduate School of Education, SOCAP Global, Sorenson Impact Institute, Save the Children Global Ventures, Roots of Impact, and the Innovative Finance Initiative

  • Practical exposure to innovative finance tools and frameworks used to close funding gaps and solve real-world policy challenges

  • A global peer network of practitioners and emerging leaders across sectors and regions

  • Applied, hands-on learning through a capstone project addressing a real-world policy challenge using innovative finance solutions

  • Structured learning support, including monthly live sessions, pre-reading materials, and a personal digital learning journal to track your growth


Program Structure
  • Fully online, cohort-based format

  • One live session per month for six months (held on Wednesdays; specific dates and times to be announced)

  • Combination of live sessions, peer learning, expert-led discussions, and independent study

  • Capstone project applying innovative finance concepts to a real-world policy problem

We're looking for emerging leaders who are ready to deepen their expertise and expand their network at the intersection of finance and policy, including:

  • Professionals working in policy, social entrepreneurship, international development, or finance

  • Graduate students with demonstrated interest in impact investing or public policy

We welcome applicants from all regions of the world and backgrounds who are committed to advancing equitable, innovative approaches to global challenges.


Cost & Scholarships

Fellows pay a one-time upfront fee of $450 USD. A limited number of scholarships are available for candidates with demonstrated financial need — reach out to learn more.
