CommonWealth Kitchen is hiring a COO - and this isn't your typical nonprofit ops role. CWK runs as a social enterprise, generating real earned revenue through its own co-manufacturing business while reinvesting in the food entrepreneurs it serves.

The work:

• Serve on the executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO and supervising 4–5 department leaders

• Own operations across finance, HR, IT, and asset management for a growing $6M–$10M organization

• Partner on strategy while staying hands-on — a builder's role in a dynamic, working-kitchen environment

• Help scale a home to 50+ food entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, shaping CWK's next chapter

Details:

• Salary: $175,000–$200,000

• Benefits: Health/dental/vision (50% employer contribution), comprehensive Insperity PEO benefits, 15 days PTO + 10 paid holidays

• Schedule: On-site in Boston 3–4 days/week, 1–2 days remote

• Candidate has: senior leadership operations experience, finance or program leadership. Property/asset management and food systems experience a strong plus.
