Are you a self-starting, detail oriented, excellent communicator who knows how to get the job done? Are you interested in working with some of the most effective digital-era social change organizations around the world? Do you have a passion for justice and a desire to put your practical skills to good use? Then this could be the ideal job for you!

About the Organization

OPEN (Online Progressive Engagement Network) is a new association of 10 digitally-saavy, multi-issue progressive social change organizations from across the globe. We also have 5 start-up initiatives in pre-launch phase, in New Zealand, Ireland, France, South Africa and www.Jhatkaa.org in India.

All these organizations use digital tools (email, web, social networks and mobile) to organize mass participation in civic decision making in their home countries. Their goal is to help their members influence to public policy towards the interests of the people at large, rather than special interests.

Each of our five established organizations has over 1% of the general population of their home country enrolled as a member, with a combined membership of over 11.5 million individual supporters.

After working separately for many years, all these groups came together for the first time in 2013 to start this association. OPEN’s mission is to support learning, collaboration and growth within this extraordinary network.
