👉🏾 Director, Strategy – Africa Engagement
This is a senior leadership position focused on strengthening strategic relationships with health ministries in Africa, regional intergovernmental bodies, and key partners in the global health space. The role will work closely with the CEO and President, advising and supporting high-level engagement across the continent to advance VillageReach’s mission of improving health equity. It’s ideal for someone with deep knowledge of the global health landscape in Africa, experience working with senior leadership at health ministries, and a strong network among intergovernmental institutions and strategic partners.
Key responsibilities include:

Advising the CEO & President on strategic partnerships that drive visibility and influence.

Leading high-level initiatives aligned with VillageReach’s global strategy.

Building and managing relationships with African governments and health ministries.

Engaging regional institutions and multilateral health players to position VillageReach as a preferred partner.
Who we’re looking for:

A seasoned leader with 10+ years of experience in strategic roles in global health, particularly in Africa.

A Master's degree in Public Health, Public/Business Administration, Law, or related field.

Proven stakeholder engagement and diplomatic skills, with the ability to navigate complex multi-sector environments.

Deep familiarity with the African health policy ecosystem and an existing network of relevant contacts.

Location: Seattle, USA or Nairobi, Kenya
