My team at DoSomething Strategic is partnering with C&S to recruit the next class of Carnegie Young Leaders, a yearlong fellowship that supports teams of youth leaders from across the country to develop real-world solutions to issues they identify in their community.

The Carnegie Young Leaders experience provides:

  • Up to $7,500 in funding to cover stipends and project expenses

  • Mentorship from expert coaches to help level up fellows’ impact

  • A community of peers to lean on and learn from

  • Opportunities for in-person learning, project development and networking

If you'd like to share this opportunity with your network, you can access our partner toolkit here with all the assets you need to spread the word.

We are specifically hoping to reach the following:

  • Young people 14-24 that are early in their civic journey with a spark of an idea or a drive to make an impact, even if they don't have a fully formed plan or team yet

  • The program is open to applicants in all 50 states and D.C., and we encourage those to apply from states where we have not yet had teams: CT, DE, HI, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, ND, RI, SD, UT, VT, WV, WI, AND WY.

The deadline is May 4, 2026. Applications received by March 30, 2026 will receive priority review.
