Dear John,

I am very interested in applying for the position with ProWorld. After going through the program in Udaipur, India, as an intern at a local development agency, I found ProWorld to be an incredibly supportive organization with intentional and thorough preparation throughout the entire process and would love to continue to play a part as the Global Project Coordinator.

For the past two years, I have worked for a range of non-profits, domestic and international. Specifically, as an intern for a growing development agency in South Africa, I was responsible for engaging with a variety of people ranging from families living in townships to local businesses with the intention of them becoming partners, all while representing the SASDI mission and vision. This task was one part of a multi-step process for developing empowering programs that would promote education and entrepreneurship in the township community. The experience in that organization sharpened my ability to effectively engage with people in a variety of settings while promoting the organization.

In my final semester at Belmont University, I was the project leader for my Senior Capstone class project, which involved completing a feasibility analysis for an after-school program at a local disadvantaged high school. Managing 7 of my fellow students was an invaluable experience in understanding how to execute a project while maintain communication between all parties. Ultimately, my team and I presented our findings to a multinational corporation interested in funding the project upon completion of our research.

I would love to play an active role in the mission and continued success of ProWorld. If you are interested in further information about my experience or skills, please call me at 573-220-8419. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best,

Brent

Post-Script: I currently am residing in Missouri; however, I wish to relocate to California immediately and will not require any relocation assistance.
