Hi everyone,
I’m part of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum and a network of young people driving dialogue, action, and change.
Global Shapers are civic-minded people in their 20s who are "exceptional in their potential, their achievement, and their drive to make a contribution to their communities.” We’re recruiting new members for both the New York Hub and Brooklyn Hub, and thought that some of the people in this network might be interested.
What does being a Shaper mean? It means:
Building connections and having fun with a community of extraordinary NYC-dwellers
Working together on local projects that make a difference
Accessing the global WEF network including opportunities to attend WEF convenings and regional Shapers gatherings
Interested in joining our volunteer community? Join our info session on May 11 or apply by 11:59pm US ET on May 28 at globalshapersny.com. Note that applicants must be 18-27 years old at the time of application and based in NYC. Please feel free to share this email widely, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
All the best,
Rebecca
