Transformational Business Network is looking for business training consultants. We are expanding fast and we would like to partner with expert business development consultants in Kenya and Uganda, to work with us in capacity building businesses.
What is TBN?
The Transformational Business Network East Africa has, for the last 4 years, supported early-stage entrepreneurs in Kenya and Uganda scale their businesses and secure investment. We leverage our networks, skills and resources to achieve this. Our current support is focused on business continuity and recovery, as entrepreneurs grapple with the knock-on effect on the economy occasioned by the COVID-19 global pandemic.
As part of the wider Transformational Business Network globally, our mission is to alleviate poverty by growing and scaling impactful businesses. These, in turn, create jobs that improve livelihoods and lift people out of poverty. We do not try and do it alone but seek to connect with people and organizations to grow the ecosystem. We have active and ongoing engagements with local and international investors as well as other corporate partners.
To date, we have helped skill and have provided bespoke coaching and technical assistance to 150 businesses. We have also mobilized impact investment for the businesses in excess of USD 3 Million. In turn, these businesses have recorded a compounded annual revenue growth rate of over 10 percent and created an additional 554 jobs.
Specific requirements include:
- Fluent English proficiency;
- Passionate about capacity building SMEs in East Africa;
- A minimum of 3 years experience in carrying out training (familiarity with financial principles, business model canvas, and building successful ventures);
- Preferably based in Nairobi or Kampala
Compensation
Compensation commensurate with experience.
