When I started working in the social sector 8 years ago, I thought I had conquered my desire to want a lot for myself. Little did I realize — I had replaced them with thousands of desires to positively impact the world.

Many desires were fulfilled, yet they still feel too few.
Given the scale of the problem, whatever you do, there is always a million times more that needs to happen.
Why EIR at NavGurukul?
When we started NG:
It took 5 years to reach ₹2 Cr in revenue
Another 3 years to reach ₹15 Cr
But when we incubated Zuvy, within just 2 years, it reached ₹6 Cr in revenue.
Revenue doesn’t mean much on its own — it’s a signal of how focused entrepreneurs, supported by NG’s ecosystem, can build and scale rapidly.

Lead initiatives as founders, not managers
Build with freedom while NG takes care of the backbone
Your initiative can:
Be housed within NavGurukul as an internal project, or
Become a subsidiary — depending on growth and your preference
What We’re Looking For
Experience
You’ve founded, scaled, or led organizations — startups, social enterprises, or nonprofits — or you have strong signals that show your ability to build something from scratch.
Vision
While NG’s core focus is empowering marginalized women through tech education, we’re looking for people who can think beyond existing frameworks and create innovative, scalable solutions.
Commitment
A minimum of 5 years — long enough to see your ideas take root and create lasting impact.
Entrepreneurial Spirit
You’re a creator, builder, and innovator. You’re here to start new initiatives, not just manage existing programs.
Responsibilities
As an Entrepreneur in Residence, your role is not limited to existing programs — you will enlarge the mission.
Launching New Initiatives
Start new verticals aligned with social impact
Innovate across areas like ed-tech, AI, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and more
Take ideas from zero to scale
Expanding Existing Programs
You may scale or evolve initiatives such as:
Meraki – Digital literacy for remote communities
Zuvy – Tech internship bootcamp
Sama – Repurposing e-waste for education
Samyarth – Cooperative consultancy
School of Second Chances – Residential program for destitute women
—or create something entirely new.
Collaboration
Work closely with fellow entrepreneurs within NG
Cross-pollinate ideas and build synergies across the ecosystem
Operational Support
NG handles logistics, payroll, compliance, and operations
You focus on impact, leadership, and growth
