Job post: Research Assistant, AI digitization of behavioral savings tool (Rwanda)

CEGA is hiring a Research Assistant to manage the digitization and feasibility testing of a behavioral savings tool in Rwanda, in partnership with GiveDirectly. 

The RA will digitally adapt a successful paper-based behavioral intervention – “the retrieval exercise” – that helps low-income households budget and achieve their savings goals for the future. The core work involves digitizing an AI chatbot-powered tool to deliver the intervention via smartphone, incorporated directly into a cash transfer program in partnership with GiveDirectly. This role is physically based in Rwanda and will work closely with Prof. Supreet Kaur.
