MAMA Network is a
collaboration of grassroots activists and feminist groups based in
Sub-Saharan Africa, seeking to expand access to sexual and reprodutive health rights.
The People, Operations and Movement Coordinator will provide operational leadership to ensure the network’s governance, people systems, workplans, operations, and strategy work in alignment to advance the movement’s mission.
At a pivotal moment of MAMA’s evolution, you will steer the roll-out of our new governance model and strengthen coordination across bodies. You will ensure all our systems and processes are co-created with the team, reflect the network’s feminist values of collaboration, trust and horizontality and align deeply with our grassroot activist nature, while supporting the achievement of our strategic objectives.

Who we are looking for:
- Understanding of what makes networks, movements or coalitions thrive
- Track record coordinating a wide range of organizational processes, including People and Operations successfully in a virtual team environment.
- Experience at strategic management level of organizations or networks, incl. design and tracking of strategic plans, annual plans and budgets
