About the Senior Consultant Role
The Senior Consultant leads complex client projects, conducts research, develops policy recommendations, writes and edits grants, manages budgets, prepares reports and meeting materials, and supports community engagement and capacity building efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in high-quality work that produces measurable community impact. Desired Qualifications

·       5+ years in government, business, nonprofit, or similar leadership roles

·       Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

·       Strong writing, research, analytical, and project management skills

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and oversee sensitive information

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Slack, Canva, or similar tools

Compensation & Work Environment

·       Salary: $85,000–$100,000, depending on education and experience

·       Full-time, exempt; some evenings/weekends required

·       Generous vacation, sick leave, and holidays

·       Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits

·       Office located in downtown Davis; hybrid potential after training

·       Role requires travel within California

·       Office is on the second floor accessible by stairs; reasonable accommodations available
