This role is responsible for managing Zuri fulfillments and inventory operations. We expect this person to be highly organized, work quickly and efficiently and take initiative to make sure that inventory is always accurate and that fulfillments are taken care of quickly and smoothly. This person should be comfortable working independently.

Fulfillment management

Shipstation maintenance

• Monitor incoming orders throughout the day
• Notify customer service team when issues arise and customer needs to be contacted

Order Fulfillment

• Pull, pack and label orders in an efficient manner
• Make sure that orders are shipped within 24 hours of the order being placed
• Make sure that orders are accurate and addresses are correct
• Accommodate customer requests for adding notes or special packing
• Schedule and manage daily pick-ups and deliveries
• Tag orders for other locations if necessary, communicating if orders need to be split and thinking about how it can be done most efficiently

Customer returns, exchanges and holds

• Process customer returns and exchanges in a timely manner
• Update returns/exchanges spreadsheet
• Inspect returned items for damages and signs of wear
• Fold, steam (if necessary) and restock returns
• Pull holds daily and check holds list for updates

Inventory Management

Shopify inventory

• Make sure that Shopify inventory is always updated and accurate
• Count inventory regularly
• Create new products in Shopify and update inventory from packing lists
• Photograph inventory as necessary
• Monitor website inventory that is available online and update as items sell out in a logical and efficient manner

Inventory logistics

• Organize space so that inventory is clear, logical and easy to access
• Receive and unpack shipments
• Count incoming inventory immediately and confirm incoming transfers in Shopify, noting discrepancies

Transfers

• Regularly check inventory at other locations and communicate about restocks
• Create and prepare transfers to other locations
• Ship transfers in coordination with other store opening hours

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to organize inventory and fulfill orders.

Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for inventory management and fulfillments.

Ability to walk up and down staircases, carrying boxes, products, and other necessary store related items.

Ability to safely lift boxes up to 40 lbs.
