The Posner Center is seeking a visionary and passionate global development leader with a proven commitment to advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion via a decolonizing framework that is eager to take on the strategic directions of our evolving community.
In 2023, the Posner Center will develop its next long-term strategy, a process that the new Executive Director will lead, in partnership with the Board and staff. This new strategy will bring alive our commitment to advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion via a decolonizing framework, while continuing to expand our community locally and globally.
We will also make critical decisions about the future of our 25,000-square-foot collaborative workspace, located in Denver’s historic Curtis Park neighborhood, and the virtual-versus-physical aspects of our community.

Key Responsibilities
STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & VISIONING: You're passionate about leading the development of strategic and innovative plans for the Posner Center's future. Through your work, you are involved in planning a 5-year strategy.
LEADERSHIP: You will inspire, direct, mentor, coach, and collaborate with the fantastic staff at the Posner Center to develop clear work plans and direct the team to deliver outcomes.
JUSTICE, EQUITY, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION: You will strongly commit to
advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in the organization and the global and local development community.
DEVELOPMENT: You know how to fund a vision. You will lead efforts to develop new revenue streams and strengthen existing ones, such as Posner Center tenancy and memberships. You will also lead fundraising efforts through grant writing, donor cultivation and management, partnerships, and events.
EXTERNAL COMMUNITY-BUILDING: You will build and maintain strong and
productive relationships in Denver and the neighborhoods where the Posner Center is located, nationally and globally.
INTERNAL COMMUNITY-BUILDING: You will nurture and maintain relationships within the Posner Center Community, Board of Directors, and Leadership Council.
