Hello SDTIC community,

We are soliciting nominations for new members of the Executive Board of the Social Domain Theory International Colloquium.  Executive board members will be elected by a vote of everyone who either follows the list-serv or attends the in-person conference on March 22.  Board members will serve three-year terms beginning in May 2023.  Newly elected board member will join the returning board members: Clare Conry-Murray (2021-23 president), Luke McGuire (2023-24 president), Kelly Lynn Mulvey, Laura Pareja Conto, Judi Smetana, Wendy Rote (2024-25 president) and Tal Waltzer.

We have three positions open:

  • A student board member

  • A board member who will join the DEI committee

  • An open-seat board member

Please consider self-nominating. Early career researchers, students, and people all over the world are especially encouraged to apply. To nominate someone else, contact them to encourage them to self-nominate. To self-nominate, fill out this form by March 1, 2023  You will be asked for your name, role/affiliation, contact information, and a brief statement. The statement is on the ways you could contribute to SDTIC, with a maximum of 150 words. It will be included on the ballot to help inform members who vote.

If you have any questions, please contact Clare Conry-Murray at ccon...@sju.edu.

Robyn Ilten-Gee, Marc Jambon, and Larry Nucci will rotate off the board at the end of April 2023.  We want to sincerely thank them for their valuable service to the board and wish them well on new adventures!

Sincerely,

SDTIC Board Members

We have extended the deadline for SDTIC board self-nomination until March 15th. Please consider applying-- we did not get any self-nominations from students, so we especially request that students self-nominate, but self-nominations for all roles are still being accepted.

To self-nominate, fill out  this form by the end of the day March 15, 2023  You will be asked for your name, role/affiliation, contact information, and a brief statement. The statement is on the ways you could contribute to SDTIC, with a maximum of 150 words. It will be included on the ballot to help inform members who vote.

If you have any questions, please contact Clare Conry-Murray at ccon...@sju.edu.

Thanks!
