Dear Colleagues

Please help me to find a GREAT new colleague.

The Department of Educational Psychology in the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at the University of Minnesota is currently recruiting a chair to lead our vibrant, multidisciplinary department and I am serving as Chair of the search committee.

The department is interested in strong candidates with a doctoral-level degree and program of research in educational psychology or related fields, including counselor education, school psychology, special education, psychological foundations of education, or quantitative methods in education.

They are particularly interested in candidates who share their commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism and will support a culture where respectful exchanges of ideas allow us to embrace the power of diversity of perspectives and backgrounds to enrich us all.

Please review the  job description for full requirements. Applications must be submitted online: https://hr.myu.umn.edu/jobs/ext/351236. The search committee will begin the review of the applications on October 17, 2022.

For more information on our department and CEHD, visit our public website, department fact sheet, faculty and staff intranet, or the CEHD Careers site.

Please share with your network of eligible colleagues and let me know if you have any questions. I greatly appreciate your help spreading the word!

Best,

Stacey

I acknowledge that the University of Minnesota’s founding as a land-grant institution came at great cost to the Dakota and Ojibwe people. In recognition of this painful past, the University honors the Tribal Nations’ history on this land, sovereignty, and continued contributions to our region. Tribal Nations, whose cultural, spiritual, and economic practices are intrinsically woven into this landscape, hold this land sacred, as original stewards.
