Dear all,
We are delighted to announce that we are organizing a two-week workshop entitled “Fair and Explainable Collective Decision”, which will take place from March 30th to April 10th at Institut Pascal (Orsay, FRANCE).
During the workshop, two main topics will be addressed, namely
participatory budgeting and matchings under preferences, examined
through the lens of fairness and explainability. Each week will be
dedicated to one of these topics.
The workshop will consist of invited talks, tutorials, working
sessions, and short presentations by participants. The preliminary

The invited speakers are: Jiehua Chen (TU Wien), Ágnes Cseh
(University of Bayreuth), Ulle Endriss (University of Amsterdam),
Bettina Klaus (University of Lausanne), Jan Maly (WU Wien),
Nicolas Maudet (Sorbonne Université), Dominik Peters (CNRS,
Université Paris-Dauphine), and Piotr Skowron (University of
Warsaw).
Please note that the number of available places is limited. If
you are interested, we encourage you to apply by submitting your

Please note also that that we will cover your accommodation
expenses and provide lunches; however, transportation costs and
dinners will not be covered.
