Apologies for this post on a "fractional knapsack problem" on this forum. I provide an exact algorithm for solving the "log-linear continuous knapsack problem". It is perhaps only tenuously related to SCW. However, just in case "some" (who certainly don't subscribe to this mailing list or are associated with it) are trying to reach me ...!!!

Would welcome your comments- particularly those who work on optimization/computational economics/game-theory/social choice.

I haven't gone through the printed version, but wish to share with you my experience of the review process:

(1) The paper was "thoroughly examined" for logical errors and the feedback was communicated to the author.

(2) Opinions were expressed very "mildly"- about the contents and the references.

(3) I revised the paper to the extent that I thought it was possible for me to do so.

You may wish to "try out" with this journal.
