Hi all,
I hope the new social chairs are on this list as well…
I am a social chair for cluster Z12’ . Throughout our first two semesters, the J-term has partied a lot and hard ! And while we are all very close , now we feel a bit lost in the big crowd that has joined us after our “solo” summer semester. I thought it would be cool to have many cross cluster events, uniting the J-term, fall term, and first year clusters.
I have set up many events in many venues in the city and we can use my connections with those places to set up cool events for our clusters. What I usually do is set up an event and open it up slowly to more and more clusters based on the amount of room we have. Although , you guys can also set up events between your own clusters and use some of the venues which we worked with in the past for easy access to all of the CBS students.
Meanwhile, I set up a google doc to entail the contact information of all the social chairs so we can be more accessible to one another.

This Thursday, since we don’t have happy hour, I thought that it would be nice for all of us to meet each other…
A friend of mine is throwing a special fashion event this Thursday at RDV, a very beautiful club in meatpacking: ''Sunset Rendez Vous'' - Fashion/ Art/ Music & More. The shows are before 9:30pm so arrive early and dress very nice. It's an upscale dress code( button down shirts, no sneakers, etc. )
He said I can bring a group from Columbia, they love our crowd, but the list is very strict and limited. RSVP fast if you wish to come because the list will close out at some point. (I need the full names of your guests as well, if you bring one, so email them to me ). Say "Ordan"/Columbia Business School at the door and that you are on the list.
If you guys are interested, RSVP on the Facebook page so I can see how many we are . The place is very exclusive so hard to bring too big of a group. Before I send it out to my personal cluster, I would like to give you guys all a chance so we can finally meet !!:)
