Hi ASBG:
See the below information for a workshop that touches on affordable housing, diversity and the arts. I saw Rick Lowe speak last year and his story stuck with me. I am puzzled as to why Austin doesn't have any artist - in - residence programs like Houston or even Marfa and am interested in ideas that might blend social business and the arts.

Registration is $50 - seems a bit expensive - and ironic given the panels will likely have alot to say about affordability and changing neighborhoods in Austin - don't hesitate to ask about the scholarships if the price is a factor, hopefully they have several.
