Hi Peter

Pinc is organizing/hosting a conference on the west coast in 2009 for NGO's and technology.  Combating the Digital Divide, a very real statistic and epidemic occurring in our social sector.  Social exclusion typically has occurred due to the nature of support, i.e. AIDS, prostitution, needle exchange and/or global remoteness.  

However, another social exclusion is occurring and that is due to NGO's and organizations not having an internet presence and/or participating online within their communities.

We are hosting a one day conference, two plenary sessions and four break outs giving organizations tools to prevent this from occurring and impacting their organizations further.

Anyone interested in participating or attending, please let me know.  Would love to have you come and speak on a panel discussing social networking / social media, Peter.

Hi Beverley,

I'm glad to hear the event in coming together. Do you have a date yet?
When we last talked about this, I think you mentioned something about April.

I will be in Vancouver / Seattle in late February and early March (for
my brother's wedding), and could swing back through around the time of
the Nonprofit Technology Conference in late April.

We were thinking late April, early May so as not to conflict with the AFP Conference in New Orleans in the spring.

So early May may fit into your schedule.  Fantastic.
