Hi all,

Been a long time since I posted here! I'll be making up for lost time
over the next couple of weeks: lots to share as I prepare some
debriefs on "90 days in the life of a Platform Liaison." :)

Today, though, I'm looking for help in drawing attention and
participation to a new forum on the Social Actions blog:

http://blog.socialactions.com/forum/topic/show?id=2062983%3ATopic%3A7524

In it, the Small Change Fund is asking for advice on involving
individual Canadians in their grantmaking process. That's the sort of
goal we'd love to encourage among funds of all sizes, and we
especially appreciate that they're open to suggestions and direction
from the Social Actions community as they grapple with how best to
strategize and operationalize that goal.

There's a short blog post about it now, too (http://
blog.socialactions.com/profiles/blog/show?id=2062983%3ABlogPost
%3A7556) and I've twittered as well (@christineegger).

Thanks for chiming in and for directing others to share their
insights, too!

Christine

p.s. Worth mentioning, I think, that this is the second blog post in
less than a week that asks Social Actions' members for guidance. The
first, from NABUUR, asked how they could better understand -- and
serve -- the people who come to their site with an interest in
volunteering for one of their projects:

To me these are early, tiny, exciting indications of the kind of
resource Social Actions could become for all kinds of groups that want
to improve the way they engage with individuals all across the peer-to-
peer spectrum. :)
