[Soccer] Bad news...

I just got a call from Naleen.

Apparently things have changed, and Herb now has to be out of World Cup by the middle of this coming week.

So, tomorrow April 1st will be our last game.

Yeah, I know... the first thing I thought was that this is just a bad April Fools joke, but Naleen assured me it isn't.

So the accounting that I sent out today goes out the window.

Thinking on the fly, I think we could do something like this:

Anybody who was already a regular (and thus getting shares of the surplus) has tomorrow paid for already.

Other guests will still pay the guest fee.

Because I didn't have time to prepare anything/order a cake/get gifts (I was expecting to order the gifts this weekend!), we'll have to do something special at some point in the future. We should have a couple of hundred bucks left over. We can discuss, but perhaps we could all get together and take Herb and Naleen out for dinner.

I will print out a couple of copies of the photos that Frank took of the team a few weeks ago. We can all sign the backs of them and give them to Herb and Naleen.

Sorry for the short notice on this, but as I said, I just heard about this 15 minutes ago.
