 Regulars: If you haven't already, please read the couple of emails I sent on 12/4, and 12/7. One asks about your willingness to continue playing if the rates go up to what Herb currently estimates, and if they go up more (three possible answers: 1: I would play at either rate; 2: I would play at the the lower rate but not the higher; or 3: I wouldn't play at either).

The field price has gone up, so the guest fee has gone up by one dollar (and will likely go up by one more if we continue to play after this month). Sorry about this, but it's beyond our control - Herb didn't want to do it, but his rent has been raised a LOT!

GUEST SLOTS

If you want to come as, or bring, a guest you MUST first clear it with the person running the game - yes, EVERY game. Teams are limited to no more than eight players per side, sixteen players total. There is almost always a waiting list for guest slots. If you just show up, you will most probably not get to play. Please don't mail a slot request before Wednesday, and don't ask for a slot further out than the next game (many times people have asked for a slot several weeks in advance, then completely forgotten about it). Check the weekly reminder, there may be special information about this week's game. You will get a note about your guest slot status (either you have a slot or you're on the waiting list). If you don't get the confirmation note by Thursday afternoon, your email may have been lost - try sending it again.

Our popularity ebbs and flows. We usually have better than six a side, sometimes it's down to five. However, we often go through long periods of time when we have more requests than we have open guest slots. To be fair to everyone wanting a guest slot, we take all guest slot requests received on Wednesday, and assign slots randomly. Any guest request received before or after Wednesday will be added to the waiting list after all of the Wednesday requests.

    Game time Saturday is at 10:00 AM. Do not be late! Show up ten minutes early so you are ready to play at game time!

    Guests: Please do not make guest list requests before Wednesday! All guest requests received on Wednesday will go into a lottery for the top positions on the guest/waiting list. Requests received before or after Wednesday get the next available slots.

    If you need to contact me on a game day, or the night before call me on my cell phone/voice mail (650.740.8096) or at home (650.366.3537 - please, not before 8:00 AM). If you have a slot and can't make it, YOU MUST CONTACT ME!! To avoid spamming you, I don't send updates to regulars or confirmed guests. There may be players waiting on your slot. So CALL me! Speak to me. Just sending an email is not good enough, you have to be sure that I know you have cancelled either by speaking to me, or getting a returned text. If all you do is send an email on Friday evening or Saturday morning, you are considered a no-show.
