Sadly, this is our penultimate game! Herb will be closing World Cup on the 15th!

As many as possible should plan on being at the game on the 11th just for old time sake, and maybe a little party/get-together after.

If anyone has ideas about an appropriate gift we should get for Herb and Naleen, please let me know. Also, if you'd like to kick in a couple of bucks to make it nice, bring it this Saturday.

The only ideas I've come up with so far are: 

• A gift card (kinda impersonal)
  
• Take them both out to dinner with as many players as possible
• A nice bottle of scotch or wine (do Herb and Naleen even drink?)

So, you can see... some better ideas are needed!

    Game time Saturday is at 10:00 AM. Do not be late! Show up ten minutes early so you are ready to play at game time!

    Guests: Please do not make guest list requests before Wednesday! All guest requests received on Wednesday will go into a lottery for the top positions on the guest/waiting list. Requests received before or after Wednesday get the next available slots.

    If you need to contact me on a game day, or the night before call me on my cell phone/voice mail (650.740.8096) or at home (650.366.3537 - please, not before 8:00 AM). If you have a slot and can't make it, YOU MUST CONTACT ME!! To avoid spamming you, I don't send updates to regulars or confirmed guests. There may be players waiting on your slot. So CALL me! Speak to me. Just sending an email is not good enough, you have to be sure that I know you have cancelled either by speaking to me, or getting a returned text. If all you do is send an email on Friday evening or Saturday morning, you are considered a no-show.
