Another excerpt from the Procedures and Rules page:

TARDINESS

The game starts AT GAME TIME (usually 10:00 AM) - that's kickoff time, not milling-about choosing teams time. You should be on the field dressed, stretched and ready to play BEFORE then. Running in the door at 9:59:59; sitting in a corner putting on shin guards or tying shoes; running out of the bathroom yelling "I'm here, I'm here!" etc. don't count. BE ON THE FIELD READY FOR THE KICKOFF! Any player that is not ready by 10:00 will be marked as late (the wall clock above the door is the clock we go by, it makes no difference what the time is on your watch, your car clock, or the clock on your bedside table). If a regular player is late three times or more out of ten games (even spanning seasons), they will lose their regular slot at the beginning of the next season. Yes this is harsh, yes it will be a long time before they regain their regular slot. This is what's known as deterrent.

As mentioned above, the guest fee is three or four dollars less if the player is on time. Any guest that is late more than three times out of any ten consecutive games will lose their standing on the waiting list for a regular slot (i.e. they will go the the back of the line).

    Game time Saturday is at 10:00 AM. Do not be late! Show up ten minutes early so you are ready to play at game time!

    Guests: Please do not make guest list requests before Wednesday! All guest requests received on Wednesday will go into a lottery for the top positions on the guest/waiting list. Requests received before or after Wednesday get the next available slots.

    If you need to contact me on a game day, or the night before call me on my cell phone/voice mail (650.740.8096) or at home (650.366.3537 - please, not before 8:00 AM). If you have a slot and can't make it, YOU MUST CONTACT ME!! To avoid spamming you, I don't send updates to regulars or confirmed guests. There may be players waiting on your slot. So CALL me! Speak to me. Just sending an email is not good enough, you have to be sure that I know you have cancelled either by speaking to me, or getting a returned text. If all you do is send an email on Friday evening or Saturday morning, you are considered a no-show.
