Hi. My name is Matt. I grew up in Oregon and attended OYSA soccer camps run by members of the Portland Timbers in the early 80's. While I write for the Goat Parade (a Chivas USA blog) my heart will always be with the Timbers. I played soccer for 11 years, right up until the point where you had to actually be good at soccer in order to play. I live in Southern California with my three children and enjoy cooking, running and playing 80's new wave hits on my ukelele.
