I contacted Del Norte High School regarding public use of their facilities.
They do not officially allow anyone to use their facilities without formal application, insurance etc.
Let's keep the game at Westview for now, then I'll try to go to the field on Sat/Sun to see if it is accessible and if anyone else are using the fields.

This is the response I got from Del Norte High

All facilities are the property of PUSD, unlike a park.
The facility is available to rent, but there is a formal application and there are rules and regulations, including proof of insurance, I believe (1.5 or 2 million liability) also, PUSD must be named as an insured.
You can visit our district website at Powayusd.org – go to facilities and it will walk you through the policies.
Anything else, just let me know.

Hi, All,
We had a great soccor game last sunday in westview high. Everybody feel happy!
Since the 4S Ranch is not available to us, and no such possiblity can be seen in future, confirmed from kristensen.
let's stick to the current field, Westview High. Now please DON'T wait for the openning of the 4S.
Let's play soccor this sunday, 3:45pm, unless it rains.
TANK: please drive yourself back to join us.

The Del Norte High has all the fields locked during non-school hours, and using the fields requires a permit and liability insurance etc.
These field will not be open to public use, i.e. walk on a play.

hi guys im sefa i was playing soccer with u guys i could not play with u coz i was working but now my schedule has been chance i start to work 5 p.m. in downtown so if u guys start to play early time like 2:15 p.m. me and my cousin can join u guys

We are getting a lot of new bloods lately but long term players from the past are always wanted and welcome. Fortunately we are able to maintain our team culture of being friendly, no blaming or yielding, a much more comfortable environment than most of the other soccer groups.
Westview has one of the best field in San Diego and there is no reason not to take advantage of it. There are always kids, family and work, many many excuses, but when it comes to two hours a week for your OWN health and fitness, it's such an inexpensive way to fulfill your life. Furthermore, some of us have built valuable friendship through the weekly game and extended the friendship beyond the game.
This new group is not limited to Chinese, we invite people from all backgrounds to join, as long as you are up for a fun and friendly game.
So please sign up to the new group if you are still excited about spending two hours with your friends in a fun and friendly soccer game.
